Do I need two video cards

by Dash Hock
(Eugene, Oregon, USA)

I am getting the XFX GeForce GTX 285 Video Card and have never done anything like this before. I have been reading forums and reviews about video cards and a lot of them state that their owner had a pair of these video cards. I am wondering if I "NEED" a pair of video cards because this card is near the top of my budget.

Just the one is enough.

Hi there.

The XFX GeForce GTX 285 is a very powerful video card, and on it's own it can withstand quite a lot.

So to answer your question, I would say no you don't need two of these beasts. You will go a long way with just one in your machine, trust me!

The only reason I would get two of these video cards is if money wasn't a concern to you. But like most people, you mentioned you had a budget so just stick with the one card.

Hope that helps a little,

Julien.

Very good card.

I've got just one of those cards in my PC and it's great... I can run all the latest games without any slow downs. So get one, you don't need two!
